Description of the project
The need to ensure food quality assurance & quality control procedures, necessary for proper compliance with European Union requirements, is part of the Association Agreement.
Since April 2019, the practical implementation of food QA/QC systems, while observing the balance of interests of economic entities, has been mandatory and regulated by the Law of Ukraine ‘On the State Supervision of Compliance with Legislation on Foods, Feeds, Animal By-products, and Animal Health and Well-being’.
The project aimed at setting up a dialogue between entrepreneurs, citizens, and supervisory authorities involved in food production. The main result achieved through the project implementation is the increased awareness of regional entrepreneurs and civil sector about relevant procedures and requirements of the EU. This will encourage the optimisation of the interaction between the parties and the effective implementation of HACCP norms in production.
